Ms. Pavesich was invited by the board members of SPE to join the local board.  After a meeting in the summer of 2015 she agreed and became a member along with her 3 interns that were chosen for The Public Education Foundation.  Each were able to attend the conference held in March at the Red Rock Convention center for free in return they agreed to volunteer hours to help make this years conference a success.  Mrs. Pavesich accepted all of the professional donations and the 3 interns matted and mounted each for display.  This project enabled high school students to participate in an educational conference that only students enrolled in a college program and educators or professionals to attend.  It also increased their experience level in handling professional artwork and the archival processes of displaying them for show.  This was an irreplaceable experience for both Mrs. Pavesich and her three 3rd level students who have all graduated and gone on to do amazing things.
