this plugin does not need to be installed in order to play, but it is recommended as it provides, among other things, a map loader for the game. there are other map loaders available for the game, but they are not always compatible with the features of the game.

a new map editor has been included, loaded from the game directory. there is a menu in the game's settings allowing to open it and load maps. user interface includes the possibility to see the text information of the map in the window. some text information is saved on the map, read from the maps when loaded.
