Liberty HS Photography

On January 27, 2016 WCTA invited 200 8th grade girls for our first Girls In Tech conference.  The Photography session that was offered three times including 75 total 8th grade girls was titled Mug Shots.  25 WCTA photography ladies teamed up in each session with 25 eighth grade ladies to create a mug shot utilizing a studio strobe set up, a dslr camera, google drive upload, Photoshop CS6 for editing, a flash drive for download and 45 minutes of fun!  This conference as a huge success opening the eyes of eight grade girls to the possibilities of technology in a fun environment such as the photography department of digital media.
